Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we prepare for the 2020-21 school year, the Transportation Department will follow guidelines and best practices that have been issued by many official agencies to keep your children as safe as possible when we do return. Many issues will be addressed such as bus cleaning/disinfecting and proper use of personal protective equipment but perhaps the issue that will have the largest impact on all of us will be some form of social distancing on the school bus. This will reduce the number of children allowed on a bus.

To accommodate this potential reduction, we are asking as many parents/guardians as possible to transport their children to and/or from school in order for us to safely meet the guidelines set forth by the Governor and the New York State Education Department.

We are requesting that you register your children (see below) for bus service for the 2020-21 school year by July 29, 2020. We need to have an accurate count of who will ride the bus in order to plan for social distancing.

Please complete this form, even if you are not planning on utilizing Bus Transportation. And if your needs change, you will be able to contact the school to change transportation arrangements. If you do not register for bus services, we will not have a seat reserved for your child.
