 GENERAL INFORMATION

SEASON OPEN/CLOSE INFO:

Season is Open May 15th and Closed October 1st of each year

Vehicular access by they security gate and overnight stays are available these dates. If you go to your trailer outside of these dates you may walk in and in winter months you may walk or snowshoe to your site.

REQUIREMENTS:

Incoming trailers MUST be 15 yrs or newer. And park models cannot be older than 20 years. Trailers with these ages cannot be sold in the campground.

A seasonal contract consists of 1 immediate family with children under age 21. Children over this age are considered guests. Subletting/Lending your trailer is NOT permitted. ONLY the family listed on the LICENSE TO OCCUPY is permitted.

Cameron’s Beach Campground reserves the right to cancel a Seasonal reservation at any time for any reason without refund

LIABILITY:

The owner and staff at Cameron’s Beach Campground DO NOT accept liability or any theft, damage, accidents or injury of any kind at any time during any season. There is a “No Lifeguard” policy at the beach and parents are responsible for their own children. There will be no swimming after dark and NO glass bottles or containers allowed in the beach area.

VERY IMPORTANT POLICIES:

*No riding bikes, scooters, after dark. 
*Golf Cart are not to be driven after dark without lights. This SHOULD be common sense!
*No roaming the park after 11pm. Kids must be back on their site by 11pm
*Please respect our trees! removal of bark, axe cuts or nails shorten their lives. DO NOT put anything in the trees. ANY tree removal needs to be approved by management and any dead or dangerous trees will be removed in the fall or spring.
*You are responsible for your own picnic table for your campsite.
*Internet service is provided for your LUXURY for FREE! There is only so much bandwidth (which is very minimal especially for the amount of people in the campground) and if people are watching movies, using apple or android boxes, it slows things down for everyone! If we notice these devices are used they will be blocked off and disconnected.
*Washrooms are open 24 hours a day. There is a pin code needed to enter. Please help keep it clean. Sand must be removed from the bathers before entering the washrooms. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please let office know if they are dirty. NO KIDS are to play and hang out in the washrooms or laundry room!!
*CANNABIS: Even though Cannabis is now legal in Canada, it will NOT be permitted out in open areas (eg. Beach area, shelter, walking around etc). It is only permitted on your lot. Same conduct as drinking applies. 
*This is a private, family campground.
*There will be no trampolines, hot tubs or saunas on your site.

PAYMENT DUE/LATE FEES

Seasonal fee MUST be paid in FULL by end of long weekend in May, no exceptions (there are many options to pay throughout the winter). After this date there will be a $50 late fee + interest of 1% per week added. If not paid in full with the accrued interest by September 15th, there is an additional $50 admin fee and you will not be accepted as a seasonal camper the following season. You will need to remove trailer by September 30th only after paying your fee in full. We are more than willing to work with you to have it paid by the due date and can be paid throughout the previous winter to be paid in full on time.

Payments are accepted as Cash, Cheque, Money Order, E-Transfer, Debit or Direct Deposit. NO CREDIT CARD.

SEASONAL GATE KEYS

Upon payment of seasonal site, you will receive 1-2 gate passes which will have your name attached. There is a $20 per card deposit required. When you return the card you will receive your $20 back. Gate Card passing is NOT permitted and your card will be deactivated when done. Each card swipe is registered with your name. Please do not go and open gate and let people in as your card will be deactivated. If there is someone that needs to drive in, please come to office to make arrangements ahead of time and have them buzz the gate. If you lose the card and require another one, there will be a $50 deposit.

VISITORS

Day Visitors

Anyone who is not listed on your Seasonal License to Occupy:parent, child 21 and over, siblings, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew, cousin, grandchild, or friend etc is considered a paying visitor and must register and pay the day fee of $5 per person at the office prior to attending to the site and will receive an armband. The day pass is valid from 8am to 11 pm. Visitors must park outside the gate unless have trouble walking and they have permission from management. If they will need to park at your trailer then one of your vehicles will have to get parked outside the gate. Pets are not permitted with visitors. Please inform your guests of the campground policies as you are responsible for their behaviour. If you have guests often it may be beneficial for you or them to purchase the Season Day Only Pass- SINGLE ($30) COUPLE ($60)FAMILY ($125) or the Season Visitor Pass-UNLIMITED (Day&Night) ($225). This will be automatically applied if it is noted you have multiple visitors. Seasonal Day Pass does NOT include the overnight fee.

Overnight Visitors

ALL overnight visitors must be registered and paid for BEFORE office closes. The fee is $10 per person per night. An overnight visitor is anyone other than who is on the License to Occupy. The overnight fee is from 11pm to 8am the following morning. The seasonal camper must be present while there are guests overnight guests.

CONDUCT

Firearms, fireworks, bow & arrows, slingshots, pellet and BB guns are prohibited. Any persons engaging in activities that are illegal (including substances) will not be tolerated and seasonal reservation will be subject to immediate eviction and possible police involvement.

SEASONAL CHILDREN

Seasonal children must follow all of the policies outlined in here as well.

Children are to be supervised by their parents at all times.Please NO excessive screaming, yelling especially after dark.No roaming the park after 11pm. All kids should be at their campsiteBikes, scooters, etc. are not to be driven after dark. It’s too dangerous.No running between trailers. Things can break and can be costly to the parentsToys, bikes are not to be left in the roads. Roads must be kept clear at all times

INSURANCE & LICENSE TO OCCUPY

It is the seasonal campers responsibility to have adequate trailer and liability insurance. Your insurance policy needs to filled out on your License to Occupy yearly. Please notify the office of any changes to you insurance policy. Cameron’s Beach Campground will not be held responsible or liable for any property damage, injury, fire, collision or theft. The use of the campground facilities for you, and your family and your guests is at your own risk.

The License to Occupy form MUST be filled out, signed before the start of the camping season.

PETS

Dogs are not allowed on/in the beach area or washrooms. Max. 2 dogs per site. They must be KEPT ON A LEASH (Max. 6ft leash) at all times and POOP & SCOOP policy is in place. Excessive barking will NOT be tolerated. You may bring your dog to swim in the boat launch area ONLY and not past the white dock by boat launch. Guests are not permitted to bring their dog when visiting.

You will be given a warning regarding your dog(s). If issues still continue, your dog will not be allowed in the campground.

QUIET HOURS & CAMPFIRES

Quiet Hours are from 11pm to 8am…these are to be honoured. No yelling, talking excessively, radios or loud music after 11pm. This is a family campground with overnighters that are travelling all over Canada, people working and ones that have young children. Respect that rest is needed. This is not a party campground. There are other campgrounds that accept that if you wish to party every weekend and this one may not be for you if that is what you are looking for. Sitting around your campfire quietly after 11pm is fine. Keeping others up is not. Make sure your children are back at your campsite at 11pm. No loud base music will be allowed at any time of day or night.

Campfires must be attended at all times and extinguished before retiring for the night. Fire pits cannot be relocated to another location. NO fires are permitted according to the bylaw from 10am to 6pm. Trees on the campground are not to be cut or otherwise damaged. Campfires must not be higher than 3 ft. high

GARBAGE & SEPTIC

All garbage must be placed in a sealed plastic bags and placed in the dumpster UNDER the tarp. Do not place in litter cans. Other garbage such as furniture, auto parts, lawn chairs, wood and steel are NOT to be placed in the dumpster “FOOD GARBAGE ONLY”. If there is other garbage besides food garbage in the bin we will place it on your deck to be disposed of at the dump by yourself. If we need to dispose of your extra garbage your account will be charged a dumping fee. You may purchase a town dump pass for $10/year at the Iroquois Falls Town Hall, you will need a receipt from me before going to get your pass.

You will need to use Teleblast or another reputable septic product in your tank. Cooking grease, disposable diapers, sanitary napkins, javex, vinegar, pickle juice etc are NOT to be put in the sewage system. A dump station is available at no charge for campers. If you wish us to dump for you then there is a nominal fee and must be booked at least a few days in advanced. Please do NOT dump at meal times! Trailers without sewage hook ups are allowed to put grey water ONLY into the ground if it is in a submerged pail with rocks. At NO time is sewage allowed in the ground.

GOLF CARTS

Golf carts are permitted in the park but please be warned that they still carry the same warnings as driving a vehicle. Driving a golf cart while intoxicated is just as dangerous for the driver, passengers and bystanders as it is in a car. The same rules apply within the park as they do on public roads. (no open alcohol in the vehicle, no drinking and driving, etc...)

Please put your site number on each side of your golf cart. Approx. 3-4". This makes it easier to identify.

NO CHILDREN UNDER 16 may drive the golf carts unsupervisedStanding on the back or sides of golf cart while in motion is prohibited. This is for safety reasons. The exception for this would be the workers at the campground only. There is a reserved spot down by the beach for golf carts to the left of the boat launch. Please do not block the boat launch turnaround and golf carts are NOT permitted to be parked on the beach or near the water. To be park on site by quiet hour of 11pm. DO NOT drive after dark without lights!!

NO EXCESSIVE driving around! It's to go to and from one place to another , not just drive around and around. You will be asked to park it. Speed limit is in effect for the golf carts as well. If we feel or have received complaints about excessive speed, you will be asked to park it. If it is a continuous problem, you will be asked to remove it from the campground.

BOATS & ATV’S

You must bring your boat trailer home if it is in the water for an extended amount of time. If leaving your boat here and not in the water, it must be parked outside the gate at the FAR END of the parking lot NEATLY & not by the gate. If you are leaving for the week, you may leave your boat on your lot until your return, but must be moved to the water or outside gate immediately upon arrival. ONLY 1 watercraft per site permitted at the water.

ATV’s, dirtbikes, etc. are only to be used to exit the park and to do trailer dumps. No driving around the park on your ATV. Kids ATV’s are included in this rule! They are not to drive up and down the roads. Dirt bikes are to be pushed outside the gate before starting.

ELECTRICITY METERS

Meters are read July 15th and September 15th. You may come and pay your bill starting in the afternoon on those dates. You may choose not to pay your July bill and pay it all in one shot in September. ALL electricity accounts must be paid in full before September 25th. There will be a $50 admin fee for any outstanding accounts after that date. We will email you your invoice once they are complete. It can be paid by e-transfer, in office with debit, cash or cheque. We do NOT choose the rate per kwh.

EVICTION ON POLICY VIOLATIONS

This is a privately owned campground and we reserve the right to select our campers and visitors. Any infraction of the park rules will result in camping privileges being revoked and charges will be applied for any damage. The management reserves the right to eject without notice or refund any objectionable person who causes a disturbance or becomes a nuisance.

1st: Verbal warning; 2nd: a written warning; 3rd: termination of camping privileges. Depending on the severity of the violation, a first time rules and regulations violation may be subject to termination of camping privileges.

CONSTRUCTION & SITE MAINTENANCE

All construction and upgrades must be pre-approved by management PRIOR TO starting any work/project by filling out a Construction Approval form that you can get from the office or online at www.cameronsbeach.ca All construction must be completed by June 30.

Please see the Lot Improvement Sheet on what is acceptable for the lot. That can be found at the office or online as well.

All sites must be kept clean and well groomed at ALL times. You may NOT store lumber, old screens, awnings, doors or clutter etc. around or behind your trailer/campsite. It will be asked to be removed. If there is grass on your property it must be maintained. We do not supply equipment for grooming. If your site is not cleaned up after you have been talked to, we will clean it up or cut grass and your site will be charged $20 clean up fee.

SELLING YOUR TRAILER

In the event you decide not to continue your reservation with Cameron’s Beach Campground, you must fill out and sign the “FOR SALE ON SITE” request approval form that can be found in the portal. Once you are approved to sell your trailer on-site and you understand the policies in place with this only then you may put up a FOR SALE sign or advertise. There is a $350 fee for the buyer to purchase in the park. You must make them aware of this! If your trailer is older than 15 years or park model older than 20 years then it must be removed from the park. Please read the policy with trailer sales carefully.

TRAILERS DO NOT TRANSFER OVER TO YOUR KIDS/FAMILY OR FRIENDS. IF YOU ARE NOT THE OCCUPANT AND LEAVING THE TRAILER/CAMPGROUND, IT IS CONSIDERED A SALE AND THE NEW OWNER NEEDS APPROVAL AND IS A TRAILER SALE.

OCCUPANT NOT RENEWING THEIR LICENSE OF OCCUPATION FOR NEXT SEASON OR CANCELLING PRIOR TO START OF THE NEW SEASON

NOT RENEWING

Occupants who are not renewing their contract for the following season, must notify the office no later than September 1st and are to remove their units from the park on or before the close of business on the 30th day of September. Removal of your assets is not permitted until all outstanding fees and charges are paid in full.

a) On removal of your trailer and assets, the site is expected to be raked of debris and any holes left by decking, sheds, landscaping paths/stones, trailers etc. are to be filled and levelled. The only plants that may be removed from the site must be in a moveable container. If it’s in or on the ground (trees, plants, flowers, grass, stones etc) it is a part of the site and it stays with the site. Failure to clean your site as described will result in a clean up fee of $500+HST.

CANCELLING PRIOR TO START OF NEW SEASON

Seasonal Campers/Occupants who decide to leave after October 1st will be charged a Storage Fee of $50 + HST per month starting October 1st. If trailer is still on site after May 15th you will be charged the going daily rate until removal (weather dependant)
