COVID-19 Safety Measures

This is a COVID-secure event. Please follow the strict safety procedures outlined below.

• If you have COVID-19, COVID-19 symptoms or have been told to self-isolate in the last 14 days do not attend. https://www.nhsinform.scot/illnesses-and-conditions/infections-and-poisoning/coronavirus-covid-19/coronavirus-covid-19-general-advice
• No spectators are allowed. Junior athletes are allowed one parent/guardian who must be listed as a spectator in the waiver form and also comply with these guidelines.
• Please arrive ready to race and no earlier than the time specified.
• Face covering may be mandatory within the event village. Please bring with you and listen to communications from marshals. .
• Please maintain social distancing throughout the event. At least 2 metres or 1 metre with a face covering.
• There will be no bag drop. Please leave in your car or contact us in advance if this presents an issue. A key drop will be available at the start of your time trial. You must collect when you have completed your time trial.
• Hand sanitiser must be used before and after you begin your time trial. There will be extra hand sanitiser on the course for additional usage. This is optional.  
• If you are indoors at any point you must wear a face covering unless you are completing your time trial.
• Participation medals will be on a table and can be collected after you have finished your time trial. We are unable to present them to you.
• You must leave the venue after you have completed your time trial unless you are in a podium position. Athletes who podium must leave after their podium. Unfortunately, you can not stay and spectate.  
• The food available on site will be takeaway only. Please maintain social distancing if there is a queue.
• No water will be supplied to athletes. Please bring your own or on-site catering will have hot and cold drinks.

UKOSF Northern Time Trials hosted by Fit Body Farm
(the “Event”)

By ticking the box below this notice, (parent/guardian) confirm that my child :
• is in good health and of a sufficient level of physical fitness to participate in the Event without causing undue risk to yourself or others and have not been advised against participating in activities of this kind by a medical doctor;
• will comply with all safety notices and the instructions of any Event staff;
• are aware of the risks associated with participating in the Event and acknowledge that it is a hazardous activity;
• will not take part in the Event if I feel at all unwell or tired or under the influence of alcohol, medication or similar;
• will take due care and attention in preventing or creating undue risk to myself and others; and
• consent to my image being used, at our discretion, for publicity of future events run by us.

Your participation in this event is entirely voluntary and at their own risk. You acknowledge that participation in this event carries with it the potential for death or serious injury. By entering this Event, you acknowledge and accept that you are exposing yourself to the dangers and risks of the sport. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fit Body Farm do not accept liability for any loss or damage caused to participants or their property.

If you are in any way uncomfortable with any part of the event, please do not take part or avoid any particular sections or obstacles that concern you.
This notice is governed by Scots law. By signing this notice, you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

I acknowledge that this event by nature is a hazardous activity and I agree to the above (on behalf of my child)

"I hereby waive any rights against: - (i) all participants in the Event; UK Obstacle Sports Federation Ltd AND (ii) Fit Body Farm Ltd, Wheatrig Farm , Kilmaurs, KA3 2NG together with its employees, agents or other representatives, in respect of any responsibility and/or liability arising from my participation in the Event.

This waiver, in so far as permissible by law, shall extend to property loss, personal injury or death arising from the negligence of Fit Body Farm Ltd, Wheatrig Farm , Kilmaurs, KA3 2NG or its employees, agents or other representatives and will, in any event, extend to personal injury or death not so caused and to any other loss or damage suffered.

I will indemnify and hold harmless any and all releases from any and all liabilities or claims made by other individuals or entities as a result of my actions or omissions during the Event. I consent to receive medical treatment that may be deemed necessary in the event of injury, accident or illness during the Event. This waiver shall be construed broadly to provide a release and waiver to the maximum extent possible under applicable law. It shall not be modified in any way. If any part of this waiver and realise from liability is determined to be invalid by law, all other parts of this waiver shall remain valid and enforceable.
