Each team will be provided one 8 inch round cake with simple white frosting. Additional white buttercream frosting will be available for piping, if needed.
Bakers will be provided with basics - rolling pin, spatula, piping bags +Tips and fondant along with additional items needed for detailed decorating. EVERYONE WILL HAVE SAME ITEMS TO WORK WITH. NO OUTSIDE ITEMs ALLOWED. NO VISITING OTHERS WORKSTATION. This breaks concentration for bakers. (Any questions can be texted to the numbers provided).
2(Two) Contestants per team but only one (1) prize for 1st, 2nd, 3rd position winners.
Bakers must bring a list of ingredients to identify potential allergies.
Cakes will be auctioned off for fundraising after contest. You or your family can bid on your own cake, if you choose too.

Contest Day:

• Contest will start at 12pm sharp. Please be at the Masjid banquet hall by 11:45am. Late comers will not be allowed to interrupt contest.

• Judging will take place from 12:45-1pm.

• Winners will be announced at contest.

• Cakes will later be auctioned off for fundraising.

The Scoring System:

• Each entry will be assigned a number for judging. Submissions will be judged on a scale of 1-5, 5 being the highest, with a total of 15 points allotted.

• Entries will be judged on taste, presentation, neatness, and creativity.

• The appointed Contest Representative will tally all the ballots.

• The contestant with the highest score will be the winner.

PRIZES WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT THE CONTEST
