The East Side Education Foundation is proud to offer scholarships of up to $1,000 each to returning students at San José State University who meet the following criteria:
1. Completed the Spartan East Side Promise Summer Program as an incoming first-year SJSU student; and
2. Returning for your second, third, or fourth year at SJSU.PLEASE NOTE: Previous Spartan East Side Promise scholarship winners are NOT eligible to apply.
This scholarship is made possible as part of the Spartan East Side Promise, with support from the House Family Foundation, Education Opportunity Fund, Valley Medical Center Foundation, and the County of Santa Clara.
Please complete this webform application no later than 11:59pm PT on Friday, July 21, 2023.
Applicants will be notified of award decisions on or around Friday, August 18. There will be an in-person event to honor the scholarship award winners on the evening of Wednesday, September 27.
