Thank you for entering our lottery for the 2024 BCT VIOLA DAVIS Summer Program.

This program is for rising 5th-12th graders.

The BCT VIOLA DAVIS Summer Program will be comprised of 3 separate weeks of camp. You may apply for any and all weeks. Campers will work with professional musical theatre writers to create shows that BCT will produce on stage in our 2024-2025 season! Each camp will run 10am-3pm, Monday thru Friday, with an hour break for lunch and playground time each day.

These camps are for anyone and everyone! Our main focus will be on imagination and improvisation. We especially encourage participation from students who may have difficulty with writing in a traditional school setting. As a group, we'll explore multiple ways of getting all your fantastic ideas out of your head and onto a page. And then next year, you'll get to see that work performed on stage!

Grantmakers For Girls of Color is providing scholarships for 62 spots at the BCT Viola Davis Summer Program. If your student is chosen in the lottery and you indicate that your student needs a scholarship, we will send you an additional form to fill out so we can gather how to best serve the needs of your family.

If your student is picked for class and you do NOT need a scholarship, we will send you a link to register through our system on Active. We kindly request that you register your student within the span of two weeks. If we do not receive your registration within that time frame, we will move onto our waitlist and your student will lose their spot.

BCT strives to bring together learning communities from various economic backgrounds. We offer our classes on a sliding scale and give scholarships to all in need. Tuition for each one-week section of the summer program is $400. Will your student need a scholarship? *

Camp runs 10:00am - 3:00pm, Monday through Friday, with a lunch break. BCT will provide lunch and snacks for students unless you choose to opt out. *
