In accordance with MA state law, the Milton Public Schools guarantees bus transportation to all students who live 2 miles or more from their assigned schools in KINDERGARTEN THROUGH 6th GRADE. The remaining seats are sold on a first come first served basis. The majority of the routes serving Pierce and Milton High have waiting lists at this time. There are seats on all elementary school routes. All bus registrations must be completed online. Registration is not complete until full payment has been made, if applicable. If the bus that serves your neighborhood is full, email notification will be sent regarding placement on the waiting list. Registration processing time is 3-5 days and bus passes will be mailed home. No students can ride the bus without a current 2019-2020 bus pass.

If your student is at Pierce or Milton High School please do not pay until you are informed you have a seat. Type Wait List in the payment field. If your child is in elementary school the bus fee MUST be paid prior to completing this online registration.

*Payment code is required to complete registration UNLESS student qualifies for free and reduced lunch OR is in grades K through 6 and live greater than 2 miles from assigned school.
*Fees can be paid at the Unibank link on the Milton Public Schools website.

*Fees for 2019-2020 school year are $275 per student with a family maximum of $550. Families can pay the $550 fee and use the same code for multiple registrations.
*Families may pay by check - mailed to Transportation Office, Milton Public Schools, 25 Gile Rd, Milton, MA 02186. Please reference names of riders on check, registration is NOT complete until check is received.
*Students with unpaid lunch fees greater than $20 will not be allowed to register for the bus for the 19-20 school year until the food balance has been paid in full per MPS policy.
*Students in Grades 6 and 9 must re-establish residency per MPS policy by June 14, 2019 or student will be placed on the waiting list.
