River Valley Rotary Club RYLA Sponsorship 2023
On behalf of the River Valley Rotary Club – thank you for considering the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) Conference for an opportunity to enhance your leadership skills.  For more info on this program, visit the district page at the following address:

District 7780 RYLA is open to all sophomore high school students and will be held beginning Sunday, June 25 and will end on Wednesday, June 28. The conference will be held at the Boy Scout facility at Camp Hinds in Raymond Maine.

Participants are required to provide their own transportation to and from the conference. The cost of the conference is provided by full scholarship from the River Valley Rotary Club.  We will be selecting 4 individuals to attend this program.

Conference participants will be assigned to a leadership experience group (LEG) of 10 – 12 members and will spend the 4 days with this group.  Many activities have been developed to explore leadership traits and qualities by LEG members, and include solo events, team solving problems, and cooperative problem solving.  Each LEG is assigned to a campsite where participants will stay in a tent.  Most of the activities are held outdoors, rain or shine, with meals taken in the Camp Hinds dining hall.
