Bi+ Fest - September 21 & 22, 2019

(EXTENDED - BY JULY 15TH, 2019 IF POSSIBLE).

The Bi Arts Festival is currently seeking submissions for Bi+ Fest, a weekend-long celebration of bisexuality in arts and culture (Sept 21 and 22, 2019) --Bi+ Fest is  part of a larger program for the Bi Arts Festival that also includes an author showcase, zine, art exhibit and Cabaret.

Calls for the author showcase, zine, and cabaret are issued separately.

Hands-on arts or performance-based workshops, educational or anti-oppression workshops, skill-sharing, panel discussions, wellness programming, and creative and engaging talks / lectures /performances are all acceptable formats.  We are interested in a variety of community-focused arts, history, cultural, educational and wellness programming that prioritize bisexual, bi+, pansexual, polysexual, two-spirit, fluid, ace/pan, ace/bi and other non-monosexual identities. Sessions will be programmed in 90-minute sections. If  your proposal is of a shorter length we will consider curating a themed program with other works to make up 90 minutes.

Bi+ Fest will be held September 21 and 22, 2019 at various locations along the Church-Wellesley corridor in downtown Toronto.

We will contact selected artists and facilitators in July, once we receive an update on the status of our grant applications. We pay artists and facilitators for their time and expertise, but regret we cannot cover travel expenses.
