TNR Request Form
Eligibility: Gateway Pet Guardians provides free TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) services to community cat caretakers in the East Side Pet District (zip codes 62201, 62203, 62204, 62205, 62206, and 62207). We do not provide services to residents outside of the zip codes listed above. You can refer them to St. Clair County TNR & Rescue or St. Louis Feral Cat Outreach.

TNR includes GPG coming out to the address listed, setting humane traps to catch feral and/or community cats, transporting them to the vet to be spayed/neutered and returning them to the address listed. Cats also receive a rabies vaccination and flea preventative is applied. The veterinarian will "ear tip" the cat while they are under anesthesia. This is a safe surgical procedure that removes the top 1/4 inch of the left ear. Ear tipping allows us to identify cats that have already been spayed/neutered if they were to be trapped again in the future.

Make sure names are spelled correctly (ask client to spell if you are unsure) and address and phone numbers are accurate (repeat back to client).

Note: "Email address" below is the email address of the caretaker. A receipt will be sent to the email address on file. Individuals without an email address can use formmanager@gatewaypets.org.
