We're so excited to invite you to #SussexMSParentCamp!!
Come to ParentCamp where you can connect and collaborate with parents, caregivers, educators, and community members to build a network of trusting relationships that will benefit and nurture our kids! This ParentCamp theme will be: Strengthening and empowering our families at school and at home

Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm
5:30-5:45 Welcome, How we ParentCamp! (The Barn - all together)
5:50-6:20 Session I  
6:25-6:55 Session II 
7:00-7:30 Dinner, Celebration, Reflection, Prize Baskets, and Group Photo! (In the Barn - all together)

Childcare: Snacks and drinks will be provided for children during childcare time. In addition dinner will be served for the children at 6:00pm. We will also have a Movie Night as one of the activities, so parents, please bring a blanket and pillow for your child to use for this activity.  

Do you need a translator? If so you will be able to let us know about this need as part of the survey below.

Gratitude to the facilitators who, on their own time, were trained in facilitation and are genuinely excited to bring family, school and community together in connection.

--How is the ParentCamp experience different?
Every person at #SussexMSParentCamp is a learner, leader and connector for kids. As such, every person can go to any room at any time and also speak, support, encourage, share others whenever they feel called to -- as a learner and leader for kids!

Here are the four topics for our sessions that focus on this camp's theme:

 1. Meeting Student needs: Supporting vs enabling                                                                                                           2. Supporting students with IDEA systems (IEP, Section 504s). What is this process?                                             3. Empowering Student Voice: How to ask for help, setting boundaries, speaking out, and standing up for   yourself and others                                                                                                                                                                 4. Structure, Discipline, Order, and Natural Consequences: In the home and the Montessori setting

Grand Prize Give-Away
Attend all three of the the 2023-2024 ParentCamps (October 4, 2023, April 25, 2024, and July 11, 2024) this school year and become eligible to be in a drawing for the Grand Prize.

#SussexMSParentCamp is from 5:30pm-7:30pm. Meet us in the Barn to begin the evening! Everything begins promptly at 5:30pm.
