Texas Ace Afterschool Registration
BISD has received a TEA grant for 110 students grades K-8 for afterschool homework help, accelerated learning, and enrichment activities. A parent or guardian must pick up the student(s) at 6:10 PM. The program runs Monday through Friday and participating students will be expected to attend each day they are in school. All afterschool tutoring will be accomplished through the afterschool program this year. Students eat dinner when they arrive and recieve a snack to take home. First priority for acceptance into the program is for students who qualify for Accelerated Learning and their siblings. Please complete the form below if you would like to participate. There is NO cost to you or your child for this program. The program has already started and we will let you know within 24 hours if your child has been accepted into the program.

Parent meetings will be offered two times per month. The grant does expect parent or other adult family member to attend as many as possible. Meetings will be held on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 5:15 - 6:15 *
