Thank you for your interest in volunteering at The Crucible. We believe that with greater diversity in our all-volunteer staff we can better serve as a space welcoming to the changing population of the kink, BDSM, and wider alternative sexuality communities and their needs and desires for a playspace. Part of our efforts in recruiting new volunteers are to encourage people who come from backgrounds and experiences under-represented on our existing staff to join us.

New volunteers at The Crucible are expected to commit to at least one scheduled 4-hour shift per month. Responsibilities may include: cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming floors, cleaning playspace equipment, doing laundry, taking out the trash, restocking soda and supplies, staffing the bar (on nights when we do not sell alcohol) and/or helping at the front door. All Crucible volunteers must be current members of The Crucible.
