The purpose of SoCal GPS is to inspire the next generation of leading innovators and scientists with advanced degrees in Academia, Industry, and Government.

SoCal GPS is a free conference on March 30th, 2024 | 8:30 am-5 pm for attendees to participate in informative workshops bringing awareness to graduate school preparation and the application process. Attendees are also exposed to the professional prospects available after receiving an advanced degree post-graduation in both MS and PhD engineering disciplines.

It is an in-person conference hosted at the University of Southern California campus - 1002 Childs Way, Los Angeles, CA 90089.

SoCal GPS promotes graduate school opportunities for underrepresented minorities, first-generation, and low-income individuals in Southern California and neighboring areas. Conference attendees are eligible for an application fee waiver when applying to a USC graduate degree!*
