GS^3 Summer 2021 Presentation Sign-Up
GS^3 (the Graduate Simulation Seminar Series) will return for an 10-week run this summer. We are looking for graduate students or postdocs at UCSB to volunteer to present on their computational research or lead an informal tutorial during 30-minute or 1-hour sessions on Wednesdays at 2PM this summer (we are happy to work to accommodate speakers who cannot make this time, just make a note below).

Please use this form to sign up to give a talk or to be added to our mailing list. Also, please indicate if you would like to consider joining our organizational committee- we are looking for students from a wide range of departments to help keep this series alive and thriving in the years to come! In addition to graduate students and postdocs, faculty, undergraduates, and experimentalists are more than welcome!

If you would like to give a talk over the summer, which of these dates would work for you? As a reminder, our symposia are Wednesdays from 2 PM - 3 PM. If you cannot make this time,  please indicate a date and time that you would like to give a talk.
If you would like to present a research talk or lead a workshop during the summer, please share some information with us about what you might like to discuss. We will be collecting abstracts closer to the time of the talks, so this information is not binding. If you need help planning your talk, we are more than happy to assist! If you are an experimentalist and would like to be considered for an "ex silico" talk, please indicate that here as well.
If you would like to suggest an external speaker for an invited talk or to participate in a panel discussion, please briefly describe below
Would you like to help out with the GS^3 committee, with an eye on possibly taking on a formal role next summer? *
