Time for a clear out?

Please drop off any donations at either school office from Mon 29 Nov to Thurs 2 Dec:

*We are planning a Toy Swap in the New Year following a suggestion from the school's Eco Team and will ask for your toys then

Can you donate willow, pine cones, or little pots & jars?

Please email us at hello@fohms.co.uk if you can donate for our eco craft tables. Drop off is at either school office from Mon 29 Nov to Thurs 2 Dec:

1. Willow branches

2. Pine cones

3. Anything clean & suitable for upcycling into decorated plant pots. For example: used yoghurt pottles, jam jars & old terracotta plant pots

Can you bake?

All cakes and biscuits gratefully received at Maynard Road office on Fri Dec 3. Please clearly label gluten-free and vegan options.

Could you donate garden space to host a board from Central real estate agents?

Central real estate agents pay the school £15 for every board hosted in a front garden with a greeting from Friends of Henry Maynard Primary School (FOHMS). Please email your postal address to hello@fohms.co.uk to be added to this year's list.

Could you donate a Raffle prize including your skills & expertise?

Can you bake, knit, draw, create or grow something for a raffle prize?

Or could you offer an hour of your expertise? Previous donations include greetings cards by a local artist, a Christmas cake, personal training, and a session with a professional photographer.

We’d love the raffle prizes to reflect the vast range of cultural backgrounds at the school. If you’re able to share or celebrate something from your heritage as your donation, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Can you spare any time on Friday Dec 3?

We need people to volunteer for the following. Just an hour of your time could make a big difference…

could you help set up the Winter Bazaar? (1-4pm)

could you help run a stall? (4-6:30pm)

would you like to take the lead on a stall? (planning what's needed & helping to recruit a team)

could you help clear up at the end? (6:30-7pm)

could you help direct traffic & write event signage to help the flow?

could you be a runner between stalls providing refreshment breaks for those running the stalls?
