UPDATED Return-to-School Survey
As promised in our recent letter, the Philomath School District has updated survey questions to gather more specific data related to the start of the 2020-2021 school year.  We continue to prepare for a variety of re-opening plan options, knowing they may continue to evolve over time.

Your responses will continue to guide our planning to safely begin the 2020-2021 school year.  Your feedback is essential to help ensure students and staff have healthy environments in which to learn and work.

Thank you for making time to respond.

Return-to-School Considerations
The Philomath School District is currently discussing four options for re-opening schools in the fall of 2020:

On-Site Learning - All students at school each day, with significant health protocols;

Hybrid Learning – A combination of On-Site Learning (with fewer restrictions) and Comprehensive Distance Learning;

Comprehensive Distance Learning - All distance learning off-site; or

Philomath Academy - Fully online academic school.

On-Site Learning: If this option is possible, will you send your child(ren) to school given the possible circumstances listed below?
Yes
No
It Depends
Different entry and exit locations for different students.
Hallway movement within the school is restricted for students.
Limited family access to school (dropping off at front door, not able to each lunch with child(ren), etc...)
Student lunch eaten in the classroom.
Recess/ Break options limited to smaller cohort of students.
Class offerings changed in any way.
Face coverings required by students ages 12 and above.
Face coverings required for all students.
Closed campuses at all schools. (High School students do not leave for lunch)
No daily temperature requirement upon entry into school.
Students stay with the same small group (cohort) of students for school day.
Students stay in the same classroom for the school day.
Students stay with the same teacher for the school day.
Hybrid Learning: Given a choice, I would prefer the following option for a hybrid learning model:
#1
#2
#3
Students attend school on two consecutive school days.
Students attend school on every other school day.
Students attend half days for the full week.
