Use this form to apply for Dayton's 4th Annual Caravan of Lights -
deadline is December 7th.
Dayton's Caravan of Lights is intended to bring cheer to our neighborhoods during the holidays. Entries will be judged on originality, lighting display, and spirit. Awards given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Caravan rolls rain or shine!
Caravan participants will gather at staging area, at 4 pm, in their vehicles decorated with holiday lights, line up and head out together on a mapped route through Dayton. Entries may be asked to split up to create interest throughout the entire parade.
Entries must not turn from the routed map to avoid confusion for those behind them.Caravan applicants need to be age 18 or older, and the person filling out this form.
After you submit your application, we will send a confirmation with Staging Location and the Route Map. Timeline for event:
4pm - Arrive at staging area, park, final preparations on vehicle
4:45-5:15 - Judging and Awards
5:15-5:30 - Driver's/Navigators Meeting
5:30 - Depart staging area, in a caravan or convoy of vehicles
5:30 - 7:30 - Caravan of Lights follows mapped route throughout Dayton, returning to Grade School
