Innovation Discovery Japan (IDJ) is a Japan tech trek in which students and researchers at MIT visit technology-oriented Japanese companies. The main objective of IDJ is to establish and maintain relationships among Japanese companies and participants of IDJ, including collaboration opportunities and job opportunities, by exposing participants to Japanese technologies and businesses through direct visiting to Japanese companies that have competitive technologies and business models.
