Class of 2020 Graduation Parent/Student Survey
Hi everyone! Please complete the following survey in regards to our graduation ceremony. While graduation will look different this year, we are currently in the process of planning an alternative that will recognize the uncountable accomplishments we have made these past four years. We are committed to deliver an alternative that will allow us to celebrate while ensuring the health and safety of everyone in our community. All questions are found below. We greatly appreciate your valuable feedback!

Please look at this article:  https://www.dailyprogress.com/news/local/louisa-county-rethinks-graduation-ceremony-to-honor-class-of-2020/article_cb415d13-7eb0-5673-8bf7-a74941231af7.html

Here is a second article: https://www.wlox.com/2020/04/17/gulfport-high-school-announces-alternative-plan-graduation/

Both of the above articles describe the first option listed in Question #1.

PLEASE NOTE: while we are unable to gather together in person at the moment due to social distancing restrictions, please note that if you choose the video option in question #1 the following will then be applied IF in the event those restrictions loosen:
1. Each senior will be given a date and time to come to the high school in their cap and gown with immediate family.
2. Each senior will be recorded walking up on stage, receiving their diploma, and hearing their name called.
3. Admin speeches, valedictorian and salutatorian speeches, and president's presentation of class gift will be recorded.
4. Full ceremony will then be mashed together into one video which will be aired in June for families to view.
5. IF we receive word that we can gather sometime in July, we could then hold one day where all seniors can return to the high school to spend time together and possibly hold an additional live ceremony.
