State Contest Observers 2024
SkillsUSA Texas State Leadership and Skills Conference will be in Corpus Christi April 3-April 6th.   • Observer hours at American Bank Center are limited to: Fri April 5th 8am-4pm and Sat, April 6th from 8am–10pm (this includes awards in the arena)
  • Hours for badge sales and pick up are: Thurs Apr 4th 4-6pm, Fri Apr 5 from 10a-3p and Sat Apr 6th from 10a-2p.
  • You must register and pay before 2pm on Saturday, no late registration accepted.
  • No on site badge sales at the arena for awards, they must be purchased in advance.
  • Badges must be worn to gain access to public viewing areas at ABC.
  • Badges do not allow access to social events or events held at other contest locations.
  • If you are looking for full access to all contest locations and events please get with your student's advisor for full conference registration.

If you can pay in advance with a credit card (Prior to April 1st only) please add a 3% fee to the total. Email us for a link to pay with a credit card. Email: stephanie@skillsusatx.org in the subject line say "observer payment". In the email please use the information provided on this form so we can reference your transaction.

After April 1st, you will need to pay in person, Cash ONLY, $20 per person over the age of 10. Make payment and pick up badge at registration area inside the exhibit hall at ABC. No credit, debit or checks accepted on site.

At this event, SkillsUSA Texas and their approved media partners may be photographing, videotaping, and/or audio-taping. Through your participation, you acknowledge these activities and agree to allow your image and likeness, if recorded, to be used by SkillsUSA and SkillsUSA Texas in publications, on the website, social media, and in marketing and promotional materials. Attendees of this SkillsUSA event waive all claims against SkillsUSA and SkillsUSA Texas Association of High Schools/Secondary Division for any liability resulting from these uses. Attendees agree that no compensation will be received in connection with the recording, use or distribution of their images.

Restricted Items: No outside food and beverage allowed inside. All venue rules must be followed. Code of Conduct: Any action or behavior deemed in violation of the objective of SkillsUSA or participating venues and municipalities will be addressed and could result in legal action, retraction of your badge and removal from property. Minors: All persons under legal age must have a parent or guardian sign the form link below. Observers agree to hold harmless SkillsUSA, SkillsUSA Texas Association of High Schools/Secondary Division, American Bank Center, City of Corpus Christi and any of its conference partners from loss or damage of merchandise or injury sustained during attendance at this event.

Your Observer badge must be worn to gain access to the venue and at all times while on property. Badge is only valid in areas where public is allowed. Parking is at the discretion of the venue. Bag policies and metal detectors are at the discretion of the venue. https://americanbankcenter.com
