The Algerian American Association of Greater Washington (AAAGW) is pleased to launch a Youth Art Contest for youth age 4 to 13 (Two age-categories 4 to 8 and 9 to 13). This contest is open to the entire Algerian-American community residing in the United States. We selected 5 themes for this contest: Healthcare Heroes; CoronaWhat?; Algerian Costumes; I am an Algerian-American; Eid el Fitr and Springtime.

The top 5 entries in each age-category will be selected by a jury and will receive a prize. All entrants will receive a certificate of participation. We are looking forward to receiving your children artworks. Thank you and stay safe.

Additional Info/Rules:
Artwork should be on 8.5" by 11" good quality paper
Any media can be used (pencil, crayons, oil, watercolor, pastels, etc...)
The youth will sign the artwork and include his age
Maximum of 2 entries per child from 2 different themes
Selected artworks will be included in the 2020 AAAGW Youth Art Contest Book
Good digital copy of the artwork will be emailed and/or the artwork will be sent through regular mail (see below)
Artwork must be received by Sunday June 21st. .Good digital copy/scan of the artwork will be emailed to president@aaagw.org and/or the artwork will be sent through regular mail to: Algerian American Association of Greater Washington P.O Box 65063, Washington DC 20035-5063
