Level 1 Coaching Course L1/23_1 (20th Feb - 3rd Apr 2023)
This is an SQA accredited coaching qualification (SCQF L5) for active coach helpers who have attended the Coaching Foundation or Young Leaders course. Blending theory and practical in interactive tutor led sessions, this course develops the knowledge and skills to run single sessions. 
The first online session will take place w/b 20th Feb with the course comprising 4 online sessions and one practical face-to-face assessment day spread over 6 weeks.  Exact dates to be decided by mutual agreement between learners and tutors - we are aware of and will work around the various events happening pre-Easter.    Pre-course tasks will be shared with the learners in late January to give ample time for completion before the course starts. Please note that this course requires attendance at every session plus preparation to be completed in between.
The cost of courses is usually covered by clubs in conjunction with subsidies from local sports councils and sportscotland.
