Learn how to sample and test the water in our local streams! This upcoming training opportunity will teach interested volunteers how to evaluate water in the streams that feed into the Tug Fork River.
Kentucky, Virginia, and West Virginia residents are invited to come and learn from representatives from both Kentucky's Watershed Watch and West Virginia's Save Our Stream programs. The training will last all afternoon from 12:00 to 5:00 pm. Plan to pack a lunch and be prepared to get in the creek, learn lots, and enjoy the day at the scenic Panther State Forest!
Once trained, volunteer teams will provide valuable water quality findings throughout the spring, summer, and fall.
