Gingerbread House Decorating Contest entry sponsored by LeeAlan Weddel Farmers Insurance Agency

Please deliver your gingerbread house to Farmers Insurance LeeAlan Weddel Agency (214 E. Main Street, Flushing, MI) On Wednesday, November 30th, during regular business hours (9am-4pm).


Rules:

  • Gingerbread structure MUST be completely edible 
  • Gingerbread houses MUST be delivered on a board/sturdy base not to exceed 24 inches x 24 inches
  • Non-edible accessories CAN be used for decorating the board/base of the Gingerbread house
  • Gingerbread houses may replicate a house, church, business, etc.

Gingerbread houses will be judged on:

  • Originality
  • Neatness
  • Creativity
  • Use of material
  • Effort

*Age groups being judged: 10 and under, 11 – 15, and 16 and up

Winners will be announced Thursday, December 1st at the Tree Lighting Ceremony, immediately following the Santa Parade

Gingerbread houses will be on display at Farmers Insurance during Candlewalk.

The Candlewalk Committee and participating businesses cannot be held responsible for any damages done to your Gingerbread House while on display. Gingerbread Houses NOT picked up by 4:30 pm on December 9th will be discarded.
