Native: you grown up speaking the language and have honed in on your ability to communicate with it through formal education.
Fluent: you can read, write, and speak a language fluidly and without hesitation.
Proficient: you can speak, write, and read a language without much difficulty at all.
Intermediate: you can hold conversations in the language and have adequate reading proficiency.
Beginner: you’re starting to learn the language
N/A: you don't plan to learn the language

All volunteers under 18 must inform their parent or guardian of their decision to join Cross Cultures, have their parent/guardian read and agree to the following statement, and ask them to provide their name and contact to validate their consent.
