The Arbor Creek MS Band program offers an excellent enrichment program for all students. This consists of a $22, private lesson, taken once a week, taught by a specialist on your child’s instrument. Listed below are a few points to consider regarding this valuable program:

-Opportunity to work with a specialist/professional on their instrument.
-Allow gifted students to move at an accelerated pace of his/her needs and truly excel.
-Can help motivate a struggling student by providing a more personal approach.
-Offer insights and experiences on a musical level not available in a classroom of 70+ students.
-Help meet individual needs. A band is only as good as its individuals.
-Scheduled at a time that works for YOU, during class or outside of school.
-Billing for private lessons is done by the teacher.

Careful attention is directed towards selecting the very best private instructors for the ACMS Band. These teachers have degrees in music and most participate in performing groups in the area. They have all gone an extensive background check from LISD and a teaching/playing interview with a director.

Student success in All-District, All-Region, UIL, chair tests, and overall playing ability is linked directly to high participation in private lessons. After signing up, your contact information will be sent to a private teacher and lessons will either occur during band class or at a determined time outside of school.
