DCPZ Workshop with Mark Church: "Examining Making Thinking Visible Practices:  Sharing What We've Learned"
Don't miss this special free DCPZ event on Wednesday, October 26, from 4:30-6:00 p.m. with Mark Church, co-author of Making Thinking Visible and The Power of Making Thinking Visible!

Come hear from Mark Church, former teacher and current Project Zero consultant, who will explore with us "Examining Making Thinking Visible Practices:  Sharing What We've Learned." Mark will lead a workshop in which we'll reflect upon the power of making students' thinking a very visible and active part of classroom learning, through the use of thinking routines and other key practices. We'll have a chance to consider perspectives on what has been learned when teachers use thinking routines for maximum effect. Participants will reflect on their own efforts to promote students' thinking, learn from others' perspectives and experiences, and gain further insight that's sure to inspire further efforts to communicate to students that their thinking matters.

RSVP by Monday, October 24, at noon. We will cap attendance for this event at 40.

Location:
Washington International School's Tregaron (Cleveland Park) campus
3100 Macomb Street NW

We'll be in the "Dacha." Plenty of parking available. We'll have snacks and beverages.
