What is Maternity Voices?
University Hospitals Sussex Maternity Voices is a group of parents who work alongside service users and the NHS to create change and improvements in maternity services.

Our primary role is to listen. We are here to make sure that people using the services are heard. We work collaboratively with NHS teams and mothers, birthing people and their families to develop services . Whether these developments are identified by our local families or are being implemented by the Trust, our role is to make sure that the user experience is embedded within any improvements that are made. We do this via feedback surveys, online and in person listening, events and meetings. We meet regularly with the Trust to ensure that feedback is addressed.

We believe the service user voice is key in creating compassionate, personalised and safe maternity care. Our Maternity Voices Partnership covers Haywards Heath, Brighton & Hove, Worthing and Chichester Hospitals and the surrounding areas.  It is only with your feedback & voices can we create improvements in Maternity Care across our area. Your thoughts, your feelings and your voice matter to us.
