2024 Riverwest Market Vendor Application
Hello Farmers and Vendors!

The 2024 Riverwest Market season begins June 2nd and continues for 21 weeks until October 27th. The Market will be held Sundays from 10am-3pm on the 2700 block of N Pierce Street. There will be no market on July 7th.

*All vendors are expected to grow, craft, curate or make the products they sell.

Vendors are required to bring the appropriate licenses and permits to every market. These licenses differ depending on the goods being sold. It is expected that vendors know what licenses are required for their products and what steps are taken to fulfill the requirements associated with those licenses. If you do not know the correct licenses you need, the License Division or Health Dept. may be able to help. Contact them at 414-286-2238 and 414-286-3521 or by visiting the link(s) below:

General Market Info (please read thru ALL info thoroughly):
The Riverwest Gardeners Market is an EBT friendly market! Customers who have an EBT card are able to exchange card funds at the coordinators tent for tokens to be used at the market. These tokens are a valid currency for EBT eligible items ONLY.  Eligible items include any food products that are  prepackaged and labeled. All vendors who sell EBT eligible items are required to accept these EBT tokens and will be reimbursed via paper check once a month. The market also participates in the Market Match program, which allows shoppers to match their EBT dollars for produce.  This program is currently being reviewed by the county for possible additional match amounts and we should know soon.  The reimbursement process works the same and all reimbursements come in one check once a month.

Riverworks Development Corporation is the organization overseeing the market and handles the administration and accounting. Vendor fees will be sent directly to RDC and reimbursement checks will be sent from them.

The market will continue to operate in most weather conditions! Unless the weather threatens the safety of our customers and vendors, the market will remain open. Market coordinators will use their discretion to cancel the market if needed. If that situation arises, market staff will contact via phone and email, as well as post on social media. Please Note: There will be no refunds due to inclement weather cancelations.

In accordance with staff, vendor, customer, and resident neighbors’ safety and market logistics, all vendors need to be completely set up by 9:45 AM every Sunday. Although, it is in the vendor’s best interest to be set up earlier than 9:45 as early shoppers are common. We ask that vendors communicate in an attentive and timely manner with market management on changes of attendance.

If there is a pre planned absence and you are unable to make your scheduled market day, we require notice no later than the Wednesday prior to that market Sunday to provide other vendors an opportunity for a vacant spot. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise like illness, injury, family emergencies, etc. In the case of an emergency, please contact market management as soon as possible. Note: The market does not offer refunds for last minute cancellations.

**Very important Market info is communicated through email WEEKLY, so please only input an email address that you have access to and use regularly.**
