History of Sports Current Events

Every other week or so, you will be responsible for finding & skimming TWO current events readings dealing with a current issue related to Sports History. Make sure you are focusing on topics and issues that deal with sports as a theme for a larger social, political, or economic issue. You will then choose ONE of these articles to summarize & analyze. The articles should focus on a significant political, social, or economic topic. Please stay away from news items like trades, injuries or accidents, and game results unless they have significant importance to a larger overarching political, social, or economic issue. The articles should come from a newspaper or news site from the last two weeks. Articles and news items from before that window will not be acceptable and may result in the loss of points. Please follow the instructions on this form so you will receive full credit for your work.
