This form is NOT the TSIC application; HOWEVER, this form must be completed before a student and their family may do the digital TSIC application.  Please follow the prompt at the end of this form to access the actual TSIC application. All student applications must be complete, with required uploads, for students to be considered for the Take Stock in Children program. All applications are due no later than midnight on November 19th, 2021.

Students should prepare their statements ahead of time either in resume or essay format and upload them with the taxes at the end of the application. The Take Stock in Children program requires students to have a valid Social Security number. Please be prepared to type that into the application. Applications are secure and once Social Security numbers are verified, they are blacked out for student privacy. *

Take Stock in Children requires proof of financial need beyond the Free and Reduced Lunch application. Please be prepared to upload your most recent tax return showing your student as a dependent. SNAP/TANF benefits listing the student as a dependent can also be used if a tax return is not available. Tax returns are preferred! Please see your school Take Stock coordinator for instructions if a student is currently homeless or is a part of the foster care system. *Email diana.scroggie@marion.k12.fl.us with any questions regarding extenuating circumstances regarding finances.
