The Symposium for Multicultural Scholars is an educational and transitional experience exploring and centering on the experiences of incoming undergraduate first-year and transfer students of color, as well as first-generation college students, all historically underserved populations at NC State. Its purpose is to foster a sense of community for students while providing them with information about campus support, personnel, and resources as a basis for helping ensure their academic, social and emotional success at NC State.

While this programming explores and centers on the experiences of students of color, as well as, first generation students of all backgrounds at NC State; this program is open to all students from all races, ethnicities and cultures and we encourage any student who has interested in this program to sign up to register for this opportunity.
