2023 ECOSLO Creeks to Coast Cleanup Kit Sign Up
SLO County Creeks to Coast Cleanup - as part of the 39th Annual Coastal Cleanup Month - is upon us!  This year's two-week event in SLO County engages volunteers to clean up trash in their neighborhood, at a time that is convenient for them, as we focus our attention on small group cleanups.  Trash in our creeks, streets, beaches, and parks is bad; more importantly, it contributes to the declining health of our watershed and oceans.  From local parks and neighborhoods, to nearby creeks and beaches, this year we are empowering volunteers like you to clean the coast from your own front door!

We are giving out cleanup kits again this year so that members from all over our community can participate in this year’s cleanup.  The way it will work is that you will signup for a cleanup kit (which is set up for up to 5 people) and do a personal trash cleanup at your local park or neighborhood - from San Miguel to Nipomo, from San Simeon to Oceano.

This year's SLO County Creeks to Coast Cleanup will be held on Saturday September 23, 2023!

Kits can be picked up at the ECOSLO office in San Luis Obispo starting the week of September 12. Each kit is made for up to 5 people in a household.

Each kit will include the following cleanup supplies:
-5 sets of gloves
-3 trash bags
-2 recycle bags
-1 data card
