THE PROCESS1. Submission & Payment - Once you submit this form, I will message you within 48 hours to accept (or deny) your commission. If my slots are full I can put you on a waitlist. I reserve the right to deny any commission that I don't feel able or comfortable to draw.
When I accept your commission, I will send you a Paypal invoice. I will not start your commission until I receive the full payment.
2. Rough Sketch - I discuss with you the details of the drawing you want, then send a rough sketch of it to you. I can make any changes you want to it, allowing up to 3 revisions.
3. Final Sketch & Colors - Once you approve the rough sketch, I refine it and add flat colors, then send this version for approval or revisions (up to 3). This is the last point that I accept revisions, as it's difficult to change things once I begin rendering.
4. Rendering - Once you approve the final sketch & colors, I begin rendering. This stage can take a while, especially if it's a Detail style commission. I'll send at least 1 WIP during this, more if requested.
5. Finish - I send you the full finished piece as a .png.
TIME ESTIMATIONThe time my drawings take varies on complexity and how busy I am. These are estimations I aim for, starting from when I begin drawing your commission:
Rough Portrait: less than 1 week
Rough Halfbody or Detail Portrait: 1-2 weeks
Rough Fullbody or Detail Halfbody: 2-4 weeks
Detail Fullbody: 3-8 weeks
This does not include waiting for you to respond to approve the sketches, and is for 1 character - it can be up to twice as long if your commission has 2 characters, and/or 50% longer if you selected Detailed Background.
These times are not guaranteed, and I don't do commissions under strict deadlines or rush jobs.
REFUNDSIf I can't complete your commission, I will cancel it and offer you a full refund.
You may request a partial refund if I don't finish your commission in 4 months since I started work on it. This refund will be for the amount of the commission I didn't finish. I will still finish the commission.
Otherwise I will not accept any refunds after I begin work on your commission.
RIGHTS OF USEYou may use your commission for any non-commercial use. If you post it anywhere publicly, please credit me (Lurinym) as the artist. You may not use it for commercial uses (selling as merch, etc). If you want a commission that you can use for commercial purposes, discuss it with me and I can offer that for an additional fee.
I may post your commission on social media - if I do I will ask you if you want me to credit you as the commissioner. You may also request that I not post it. I will not use your commission for commercial use.
