The Weston Cultural Council (WCC) is charged with distributing money in the form of grants allotted to the town by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency, for projects that promote access, education, diversity and excellence in three areas: the arts (crafts, performing, visual, media, folk, design, literary, and interdisciplinary arts); humanities (history, social studies, philosophy, criticism, and literature); and interpretive sciences (engaging people in learning about nature, science, and technology in ways that connect to their lives).
The WCC is required to solicit input and feedback from the community every three years which we then use to inform our future priorities and program funding choices. Our goal is to bring programming into the community that serves and interests the broader community and generates excitement about upcoming events. Please take a moment to complete this anonymous survey online or via paper copy which will be available at the Weston Public Library, Weston Town Hall, and the Council on Aging.
