Joint St. Louis & Tri-County Faith Labor Alliance Conference Call, April 2, 2020, 8:00 a.m.
Greetings!

Unfortunately, after consulting with staff & leaders at MOJWJ, the in-person St. Louis FLA meeting scheduled for Thursday, March 26, at Maggie O'Brien's and the in-person Tri-County FLA meeting scheduled for Thursday, April 2, at Trinity Episcopal Church in St. Charles are both cancelled in order to avoid large gatherings of people with open food.

Instead of meeting in person, we will have a joint St. Louis and Tri-County FLA CONFERENCE CALL on THURSDAY, APRIL 2, from 8:00 am - 9:00 am. Conference Call # 781-448-4740, pin: 20827

RSVP's would be helpful, but not required, for the Conference Call.

I also hope that we can all meet in person for the St. Louis FLA on Thursday, April 23, although that remains to be determined by public health concerns regarding COVID 19. Let's really recruit to get a full room on Thursday, April 23 in St. Louis (or possibly, a call), Thursday, May 28 in St. Louis and Thursday, June 4, in St. Charles.

If the RSVP link doesn't work for you, please RSVP to me, the Rev. Dr. Teresa Danieley, teresa@mojwj.org, or 314-503-7415.

Breakfast Sponsors are still needed for St. Louis FLA on Thursdays, Oct. 22 & Nov. 19, and the WRB Annual Meeting on Sept. 24. $900.00 per St. Louis Faith Labor Alliance Breakfast. THANK YOU to CBTU, CLUW, APRI & LCLAA (STL 1/23), SEIU Local 1(STL 2/27 & Joint Mtg 8/27), UFCW 88 (STL 4/23 & TriC 10/22), Laborers 110 (STL 5/28), Laborers 660, IBEW 1439, CAIR-MO (STL 6/25) and the MO AFL-CIO (TriC 6/4) for signing up to sponsor FLAs in 2020.

As we grapple with how to respond to this public health crisis, we must also lift up the people and communities we care about the most. If there was ever a case for why we need paid sick leave, paid family leave and universal health care, this is it.  Millions of poor and working class folks across the country are going to be the most harmed by this pandemic. We have a lot of organizing to do!

If you have any questions or need to get in touch with me (from a safe social distance), the Rev. Dr. Teresa Danieley, my email is teresa@mojwj.org and my cell is 314-503-7415 (call/text). Thank you! Blessings! Teresa+
