2024 Spring WildFire Stagehand Application
The Showcase at WildFire is full of spectacular performances, but none of that would be possible without our illustrious stagehands!! If you’re all about the behind-the-scenes life, this could be the perfect role for you.

Before showtime commitments include:
  • Attending the showcase meeting during lunch on Saturday
  • Being present for the cue-to-cue rehearsal right after classes on Saturday
During the show you may be required to:
  • Move props on or off the stage between numbers
  • Act as a safety for fire performers
  • Help ensure props are safely stowed backstage and don’t create trip hazards
  • Any other reasonable duties as requested by the Producer or Stage Manager
Applicants will be contacted in the order they submitted, if approved as a stagehand this role fulfills your minimum volunteer commitment for the event.

Do you have any prior stagehand experience, whether at WildFire or elsewhere? (It’s totally ok if you don’t, we’re just curious) *
Are you physically able to perform the specific duties of this role, such as lifting 25 lbs or picking multiple items up off the ground? *
Stagehands also act as safeties for fire performers as needed, are you comfortable safetying for a variety of props? (Note: you will NEVER be asked to safety a prop you are not comfortable with at WildFire) *
