VISIT TRUCKEE-TAHOE, the Tourism Authority for Truckee, California is accepting Truckee STR Independent homeowner applications for the new commission-free booking engine coming soon on VisitTruckeeTahoe.com. You must have an active Truckee TOT (short-term-rental) registration certificate. Properties located in Placer County are (currently) not accepted.

The goal is to connect your STR property(s) using a Ripe API that avoids paying a commission (as you do for an OTA like AirBnB). This will take communication to set up between you, acting as the lodging supplier, and Kassi Harris, Lodging Supply Specialist at Ripe. kharris@bookripe.com. Is your property committed to sustainability? Get certified as meeting the Sustainable Truckee Eco/Green Lodging Standards and receive premier filtering in the booking engine as a "Green/Eco-Friendly" property.

To be considered Eco/Green, an STR must self attest to meeting a minimum of three criteria for Energy, Waste & Supplies, Water, and Transportation in addition to complying with required guest communications plus the Town of Truckee STR ordinance.
