District Accountability Committee
Members of the DAC advise Cherry Creek School District Board of Education on spending priorities, review applications for charter schools, and report on the effectiveness of district programs.  ​​This committee has broad responsibilities for ensuring the district's continued educational success and cost-effective management and is organized in compliance with Colorado state law. DAC also reviews school improvement plans and prepares an annual report for the Board of Education.

DAC is open to CCSD parents, staff and community members who are interested in the improvement of our schools.

Benefits of participating in the DAC:  
- Insight into key district initiatives
- Networking opportunities with other community leaders
- Opportunity to provide recommendations directly to the Board of Education.

DAC member commitment:
- General meetings once every other month (typically the first Wednesday of each month) starting at 6:30 pm.
- Subcommittees meet once every other month or more based on need.

- Unified Improvement Plan (UIP)
- Budget
- Family and Community Engagement
