Let's Talk Science is a national science outreach organization consisting of university-specific, independently operated chapters. UBC Let's Talk Science volunteers are role models for young Canadians, shattering stereotypes and inspiring youth to become engaged in STEM learning. As a volunteer, you will meet like-minded people, develop your teaching and communication skills all while making a difference in your community. You will also be eligible for prestigious awards too!
We set you up for success by providing training, activity kits, funding and materials. There are several (up to 10!) different programs run by UBC Let's Talk Science that you can learn more about by RSVPing to one of our info sessions below. These should only take around an hour.
If you sign up for our newsletter and register on the portal (
https://volunteer.app.letstalkscience.ca/), you will receive biweekly or monthly volunteering opportunities.
