Thank you for your willingness to assist a family in need.  We are so excited to see what it will look like when the whole Body of Christ, across Boston, rises up to - in Jesus' words - LOVE THY NEIGHBOR!

What does a family do when one of them is tested positive for COVID-19 and immediately goes into quarantine? When they don't have enough food at home for multiple days, and they don't have extended family or friends to help them buy groceries?
 
We are partnering with Massachusetts COVID-19 Community Tracing Collaborative (CTC) and Partners in Health (https://www.pih.org/ma-response) to help provide groceries for families in this situation. Please fill out this registration form if you would like to help purchase and deliver groceries to quarantined families in your zip code and follow the steps outlined below.  
 
• Once you have signed up, we will connect you with a single household in your zipcode as needs arise.
 
• When you are connected, will provide you with instructions and grocery suggestions for that neighbor in need.
 
• As this is such an urgent need for some families, PLEASE confirm your availability within 12 hours of a request for help. If you are available, purchase and deliver the groceries within 24 hours after receiving the instructions. You also are encouraged to place a card with encouraging words of hope in your delivery!

• Once you have provided groceries to a family, you will then be given the opportunity to decide if you would like to stay on our “Active Helpers” list to serve in this project again, or if you would like to just serve this one time.
 
You are in charge of this process, but the turnaround is quick as is required by the state. Please only accept invitations to help when you are available and have the means. You can stop being contacted at any time.
 
Thank you for being willing to help us ensure that every family is loved and cared for as they go through the challenging and isolating quarantine process that accompanies a COVID-19 positive diagnosis. We hope this will add a little love to their lives, and help everyone involved to connect more deeply together as neighbors during such a vulnerable time.
