Women in Business - After Hours Event
Join us for an amazing evening celebrating women entrepreneurs in the Kootenays in recognition of International Women's Day 2025! ✨

The Lower Columbia Women's Business Club, Trail & District Chamber of Commerce, Community Futures South Kootenay, and WeBC are excited to present this special event featuring:
  • Networking opportunities with facilitated conversations about how local women entrepreneurs can support each other in today's challenging business landscape. Share your experiences, gain valuable insights, and forge new connections in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
  • A screening of the film "Rule Breakers," an inspirational drama based on the true-life story of Afghanistan's first all-female robotics team. Directed by two-time Academy Award winner Bill Guttentag, this film is sure to motivate and empower!  In a nation where educating girls is seen as rebellion, a visionary woman dares to teach young minds to dream. When their innovation draws global attention, their success sparks hope—and opposition. As threats loom and sacrifices are made, their courage and unity ignite a movement that could forever transform the world.
  • A chance to win a door prize!
Please feel free to invite other friends in business. Don't miss out! Mark your calendars:

Date: March 12th. Doors open at 6 pm
Location: the fabulous Royal Theatre in Trail
Tickets:  $10 (includes the movie, popcorn and beverage).

This event is made possible with support from the Government of Canada’s Women Entrepreneurship Strategy.
