Harassment and Bullying
Middlehaven Inc.(Hereafter referred to as Middlehaven or Middlehaven LARP) prohibits harassment and bullying of any kind. This applies to all individuals and groups. Participants engaging in this behavior may be subject to sanctions up to and including disinvitation to any and all Middlehaven LARP events.

If you believe you have been subjected to harassment, bullying or retaliation, or if you become aware of anyone being harassed or bullied, contact a Player Advocate or email the Board of Directors at feedback@middlehavenlarp.org
 
Harassment and bullying includes, but is not limited to:

-Inappropriate physical contact or assault; unwanted sexual advances or propositions; or retaliation for reporting harassment and/or bullying;
-Offensive or lewd verbal comments about a person, a person’s sexuality or sexual experience;
-Sexual; or discriminatory displays or publications anywhere at the event;
-Hostile actions taken against an individual because of that individual’s sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or the status of being transgender.

Middlehaven LARP does not permit Sexual Harassment of any kind at game. Should Sexual Harassment occur, report it to a Player Advocate, Board Member, or the Event Coordinator so it can be documented. Please avoid sharing information about the incident through gossip or repeating gossip, as this makes the incident harder to investigate and does not respect the privacy of our players.

All reports will be taken seriously and discreetly investigated unless the reporting party does not wish an investigation to occur. The reporting party may remain anonymous. See the full policy for investigation options and procedures as well as a full list of examples of sexual harassment.

What may constitute Sexual Harassment:
-Unwanted physical contact
-Unwanted comments of a sexual or sexualized nature.

Every Middlehaven LARP attendee has the right to body autonomy. Before touching anyone, ask for consent. Once consent is given, be aware and respectful that consent can be revoked. Remember, the comment you may think is funny or cute that is sexual in nature may make others uncomfortable or worse, this includes joking around with your friends, or in a group with others.
