Legacy Heritage Fund offers grants to mid-career educators and others professionally engaged in Jewish community work to support their advanced professional development through participation in graduate programs in Jewish Education.
The Fund provides fellowships to qualified candidates participating in the Hebrew University International Masters program of the Melton Centre for Jewish Education in the Seymour Fox School of Education. Successful applicants will receive a tuition scholarship of 50%.
The number of Fellowships is limited and they will be awarded competitively based upon the applicants academic and professional record.
To be eligible for the Fellowship applicants must meet the following conditions:
1. They must have completed their undergraduate studies at least 5 years before beginning study in the Masters program.
2.They must have been a professional serving the Jewish community for at least 3 years before beginning their studies in the Blended Learning Masters program.
3. They must work for at least 15 hours per week at a Jewish institution in the United States while studying in the Masters program.
4. Recipients of the Fellowship must continue to meet the above conditions
throughout their studies.
