MIE Enrollment
The MIE Program is free for Roosevelt Students in grades TK-5. The program operates until 4:45PM every school day.  Starting with the 2022-2023 school year, students must enroll in the MIE program.  Please submit a separate form for each student. 

The MIE program consists of the following: 
  • Fundamental: All students participate in these daily music classes which consist of instrumental, choral, and general music instruction. 
  • Elective: Students in 1st-5th grade can optionally participate in these extra classes such as ukulele, hand bells, rock band, percussion ensemble, and MORE!  If you would like to add an elective, you will be able to select your preferences below. 
  • Extra MIE: New for the 2022-2023 school year, there will be additional and optional time 1st-5th grade students can opt into. This provides structured care for students until 5pm daily. Extra MIE time will be enriching and experiences will rotate as the year goes on. 

For TK/K Students- Pick up time is 1:50 every day, (1:00 on Wednesdays). If you need extra care, please contact Options for Learning, information is available on the district website. 

For Grades 1-5 - Students may choose from the following pick up times: 

1st-3rd Grade
  1. 2:50 PM (1:50 W) "Fundamental Only"
  2. 3:30 PM (2:40 W) "Additional Elective"
  3. 4:25 PM - "MIE Extra" Session 1
  4. 4:45 PM - "MIE Extra" Session 2
4th and 5th Grade
  1. 3:30 PM (1:50 W) "Fundamental Only"
  2. 4:25 PM (2:40 W) "Additional Elective"
  3. 4:45 PM - "MIE Extra"
