Class Act, Act 2- January-May 2023
Monkeys and turtles and coyotes – oh, my!
Students in grades 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade, please join us for Act 2 of “A Class Act”! In this completely new offering we encourage former “Class Act, Act 1” students and new students to join us as we cover many acting skills during our time together. Some of the skills that will be covered are: character development, utilizing voice, stage direction, auditioning, and working together as an ensemble.
At the end of our 16 weeks together we will present a public performance of tales from around the world on May 13th, 2023! Our performance of “Folk Tails” will be considered a “Trunk Show”, which means many of our props and costumes will be found in a trunk right on stage and the audience can watch as each actor becomes a specific character.
Class is held on Wednesday evenings from 5:00-6:00pm and the dates are: January 25, February 1, 8, 15, 22, March 1, 8, 15, 29, April 5,12,19,26, May 3, 10. No Class: March 22nd
May 13, 4pm-7pm *Public Performance Day. Performance is at 6:00 pm.
Class Fee:Pay by the Class
$12 per class (16 sessions, One Semester, a $192 VALUE)

*A Class Act t-shirt and notebook are included in the fees.
