Apply to become our YALS SDG Change Ambassador
As an ambassador you will develop your own societal project from a problem or situation or challenge or around one of the SDG's in your society no matter how small, and provide solution to this problem/challenge or issue or advocate for it.
You will make a PowerPoint presentation of the societal problem you identified and how you solved the problem and the potential benefits it brings to the society or your country.
Problems can range from education, sexual health issues, climate change, agriculture, sanitation or any other issue around one of the SDG's.
After your application has been accepted we will send you a contract with an outline of your work of an ambassador and all the needed information. An artwork will be designed for you as well.
ELIGIBILITIES:
Should be aged between 18 and 40 years
Citizen of an African Country
Must attended Young African Leaders Summit before or intend to attend the 2022 summit to be held in Nigeria
Have identified an issue or societal problem around one of the SDG's that you want to contribute to solving it
Ability to fund your international travel cost and summit fees for the Young African Leaders Summit 2022
Demonstrate experience and strong capacity in community service and youth development
Passionate about using your skills to make positive impact in their community
Interested in leadership, poverty alleviation, climate change and entrepreneurship for Africa sustainable development and the SDG’s
And most importantly, have applied as Delegate for the Young African Leaders Summit.
