We are currently seeking vendors that can ship in or deliver their products to our location on 123 James street North .Hamilton, Ontario.Canada
Registration is open to vendors inside and outside of Canada. We will reach out to businesses we're interested in
featuring in the store DIRECTLY. We want to get as many businesses involved as possible!
Who Are We?
Our vision is to create exposure and highlight BIPOC businesses. We want to celebrate entrepreneurship at every level for these businesses and provide a storefront for them to showcase their brands. Our products are sourced by a wide variety of BIPOC Businesses. Majority of them being small to medium sized businesses.
Ark collective is a staffed with sales associates that would sell your products on your behalf.
Hours of operation are 11am-7pm Tuesday - Saturday . Sundays 12pm-6pm.
Investment
Cost to be part of the collective is as follows
$99 / month for single product vendors i.e soaps, oils etc
$150/month smaller product vendors i.e accessories , skincare
$250/ month for multiple item vendors i.e clothing vendors
Minimum stay of 3 months is required. For as low as $5 a day you can have your products in a storefront located in downtown Hamilton with lots of foot traffic on the most buzzing street in the city James street North. We are right at the intersection of James st & Vine. Same street with other BIPOC businesses, Tourism Hamilton and in the Downtown BIA

- Pottery & Ceramics
- Clothing and accessories
- Leather goods
- Woodwork
- Pet supplies
- Toys & games
- Baby and kids products
- Curated antiques
- Jewelry
- Bath, body & beauty products (all skincare products must be labelled according to FDA regulations)
- Candles
- Hot sauce, coffee beans + accessories, spice mixes, teas, preserves
We have a very strict criteria for accepting vendors:
◦ Professional Product Pictures.
◦ Pictures must be your own (no celebrities, no stock images, no manufacturer images)
◦ Clean professional packaging. No blurry writing or graphics. Writing must be legible
◦ Professional high-resolution logo
◦ Socials and website must be clean and professional
◦ Clothing sizes must at minimum have -XL, but we prefer even more size options
◦ Clothing items must have hangtags and size tag inside.
◦ All fabrics must have care instruction tags
◦ Food and skincare items must have ingredients and expiry dates
◦ Food items must be insured, and meet all public health requirements
◦ Candles must have safety instructions stickers underneath
◦ Choking hazards must be marked
◦ All skincare must have directions on how to use
If you don't meet all of this criteria, don't worry, we have resources to help you get retail ready.
For any skincare, haircare, foods and books, we must receive samples to test before approval.
