Hilton Talent Show | Angel Tree FUNdraising Event
This year we will be raising FUNds and celebrating our talents by hosting a talent show at the Brighton Center for the Performing Arts. Hilton children are invited to join the fun by performing a talent or coming to watch their friends perform. Below are the details:

WHO: Hilton students JK-4 are invited to perform. Groups are encouraged. The more the merrier on stage.

WHAT: Human talents are immeasurable and mighty! Here are some talents you could share by yourself or even better... with friends.
- a dance
- a magic trick
- a skit
- a cheerleading routine
- a song
- play an instrument
- your band could perform
- a comedy routine
- a science experiment
- a karate demonstration
- a jump rope routine
- a yo-yo routine
- email us about another idea... We are flexible and supportive. (hiltontalentshow@gmail.com)
** Acts should not be longer than three minutes in length. Two minutes is ideal.**

WHERE: Brighton Center for the Performing Arts | 7878 Brighton Road (Brighton High School campus)

WHEN: Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 6:30pm

WHY: Our Angel Tree is a special fund used to help families in need throughout the school year. Each December, we gratefully collect donations to support this work. The Angel Tree was started in memory of Shelley Compton, a Brighton teacher who lovingly gave to children throughout her teaching life in Brighton. While it is free for students to participate in the Hilton Talent Show, we will be collecting donations at the door from our audience.

HOW: Take some time to make a plan. We would love groups of friends to perform together. When you/your group is ready, please register using this form. WE ASK THAT ONE REGISTRATION BE COMPLETED FOR EACH GROUP PERFORMING. PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT MULTIPLE FORMS.

APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY MONDAY,  NOVEMBER 11.

The person who submits the talent show application will receive communication from us via email when the talent show submission is approved. Once you receive confirmation from our committee, PLEASE SEND THE FOLLOWING to hiltontalentshow@gmail.com by NOVEMBER 15:
- your digital music file (the entire song/edited to your needs) or send song to Hilton on CD labeled with name(s)
- copy of lyrics (feel free to send a link from the website)
- text of any jokes being performed
- text of any skits being performed
**Acts will not be permitted to perform unless we receive content for your act by November 15.**
**We know we can count on Hilton Families to choose age-appropriate, positive material. Thank you!**

On the day of the talent show, plan on arriving at the BCPA at 6:15. Performers will sit in designated spaces in the audience and will be welcomed on to the stage to perform. This will allow performers the opportunity to watch their friends' performances as well. The Hilton Talent Show is not a competition. It is a celebration.

We are here to answer your questions and we welcome you to the process. We ask that you reach out to us at hiltontalentshow@gmail.com rather than posting comments and/or concerns on Hilton social media platforms.

We look forward to a fun-filled, celebration-centered evening. Thank you for helping us to bring the FUNds!
